About Me
Nafisa Manapat is a music instructor who founded her own music studio specialized in teaching both voice and piano from beginner to expert level to a wide range of students from the ages 5 and up. Nafisa is a highly qualified instructor with over 25 years of experience having taught over 600 students in a variety of styles of music including Classical, Jazz, and Contemporary. Nafisa brings her own personal touch when it comes to her teaching style that is very understandable, educational and above-all fun and enjoyable for her students. She truly customizes a student’s learning journey to their own needs, desires, and goals while being supportive and compassionate. Nafisa is not just a piano and voice instructor; she has earned the reputation of being a great companion who listens to, supports and encourages her students to achieve their full-potential with the utmost care and attention.

All our four girls have been students of Miss Nafisa for over 7 years, and we all love her classical Russian piano teaching of the highest quality. Our daughters all have played beautifully, and we enjoyed their music during many recitals and at home. Our youngest is still taking remote lessons with Miss Nafisa even after we moved, and she is preparing for her National Piano Gild exam. Our family highly recommends the studio and hope many more children and adults can benefit from high quality musical education provided by loving and caring teachers while also enjoying customized approach and flexibility of the private lessons.

I take very seriously my daughter education and believe that teachers are like a role models to our children. Besides helping my daughter work on her music skills, Miss Nafisa has empowered my daughter to believe in her talents. January 24, 2022I am lucky to have been a student of Ms.Nafisa since I was a young girl, mind now I am in my early twenties. I lost touch with playing piano when I went into college, but was still able to retain a lot of what she had taught me over the years. (I hate to brag but she made me into a very skillful pianist over the years lol!) Now I return to her as a student and I can still confidently say without a doubt she will never lose her touch as the most wonderful piano teacher. As me as an example, she is the best kind of teacher for all ages. She teaches with care and compassion with attention to detail to instill all the confidence in each of her students. All in all she is a great music teacher and a very nice and positive person to surround yourself with, which is so important in finding the right teacher for yourself or your children! Nafisa has taught my 9 year old daughter piano for the last 3.5 years. She is so kind, patient, and flexible. She is a wonderful teacher! My daughter has made incredible progress and genuinely loves playing/practicing. She loves her piano lessons! Nafisa also has giving voice lessons to my 11 year old for the last 2.5 years. Not only has my daughter’s vocal skills improved, so has her performance skills. We truly adore Nafisa and are so grateful to her for the love of music she has nurtured in our girls!
